Netflix the upcoming Killer Thriller starring Michael Fassbender and Tilda Swinton are currently being produced. After being passive development for more than a decade, Netflix acquired the right to the film from Paramount with Netflix will release a film at the end of 2022 or early 2023.
Netflix is a murderer to be directed by the winner of the Golden Globes and Oscar David Fincher’s number, known as critically recognized hits such as girls, mank, social networking, zodiac, se7en, and more.
In fact, Fincher will reunite with S7en Writer Andrew Kevin Walker for the Killer Netflix. Walker also wrote the Oscar who won Wolfman and the film Sleepy Holly 1999 who starred in Johnny Depp. Chaffin Ceán, Old Fincher production partner, producing.
Although FinCher has worked with Netflix almost exclusively over the past 5 years, he officially tied the knot for a four-year agreement in November 2020. Fincher has been involved with several largest Netflix projects from the last decade with involvement in MANK, love death & robots, home cards , and Mindhunter.
What is the plot of Netflix’s The Killer?
Netflix’s The Killer was based on the French graphics novel with the same name by the author of Alexis Nolent, under the name of Pena Matz, and artist Luc Jacamon. The first volume was published in 1998 and the latest was in 2017. But unknown graphic novel parts that will be adapted into the film, so hopefully, there is an opportunity for the sequel, provided the killer turned out to be successful.

Netflix’s The Killer will be led by Oscar and Golden Globe Nominee Michael Fassbender, which is known for many projects such as X-Men, 12 years of a slave, Steve Jobs, Macbeth, and others. Fassbender will play the role of titular killer, which develops a conscience during the film. At one point point it was reported to be going to Brad Pitt.
Tilda Swinton was then confirmed being actor. The actress is best known as titles such as Snowpiercer, French shipments, strange Marvel doctors, and Netflix’s okja.

Initially we were told that the film was set to enter production on September 2021 but then we learned that many things had shifted back with actual production starting from November 1, 2021.
The globe-trotting movie will be filmed across multiple continents and countries with the current list of filming locations set to include:

- Dominican Republic
- Chicago, United States
- Paris, France
When will The Killer be released on Netflix?
Considering starting new production November 2021, we may be able to expect the Netflix killer to be released around the second half of 2022 or even 2023.
Elsewhere, David Fincher is still expected to bring Chinatown to Netflix which serves as a prequel with a 1974 film with the same name. Netflix also works on a number of other studios booms! adaptation too.
