IAS officer locked inside his office by South MCD councillor transferred

An IAS officer, who was locked in his office by BJP board member on February 4, has been moved together with two other officials on Thursday.

Claiming that the Deputy South MCD Commissioner Bhupesh Chaudhary did not pay attention to the problems in his nation, Chairman of the BJP Council of Zone Najafgarh Satya Pal Malik had locked an IAS officer in his office.

South MCD issued an order Thursday that the Chaudhary has been transferred to the DC center zone along with additional costs from it. With him, Pradeep Kumar, who holds allegations of primary education director at an additional cost of DC Advt, has been transferred as deputy commissioner of Najafgarh Zone. Radha Krishna, which is a DC center zone and a shared accessor and collector, has been freed from the DC post.

Chaudhary, the 2014 IAS officer from Agmut cadres, told Indian Express, “We are a transferable job and we work in accordance with the government’s rules. Whatever is done for me, I have registered fir and the law will take the way … we are on duty Bound to obey the rules and whatever is done is a criminal action. If someone has a complaint, it can be legally discussed using a different channel. “

Malik, who is a board member from Roshanpura and former Deputy Mayor, claimed, “I have nothing with him, he doesn’t seal liquor stores even though there is a violation.”

Mayor SDMC Mukesh Suryan said the officers had been transferred and he would be increasingly pressing that he was sent back to his parent department.

A senior official at the South MCD said that locking anyone in the office was a violation of his rights: “No matter what the reason behind the confrontation and who is right, this cannot be justified. If there is a problem, it can be raised in a corporate meeting.”

The confrontation between the two wings is not new. In 2018, a special home session was summoned at that time the Mayor of Bipin Bihari Singh was looking for Impeachment at that time Commissioner Ranveer Singh because of his alleged rejection to take steps to end the strike of sanitation workers.
