Indian students who have to stop their MBBS courses in Ukraine because of the Russian invasion, can now continue their courses from where they leave, in medical universities located in 29 countries including the United States, National Medical Commission (NMC), India Regulatory Agency for Medical Education , say. 29 countries from which Indian students can continue their courses including Poland, Austria, Czech Republic, France, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Moldova, Slovakia, Spain, Uzbekistan, US, Italy, Belgium, Egypt, Belarus, Latvia, Kyrgyzstan, Greece, Romania, Sweden, Israel, Iran, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Germany, Turkey, Croatia and Hungary.
On September 6, NMC said that they did not mind the academic mobility program that would allow Indian MBBS students, who had to return, for a while, pursuing their courses at other foreign universities. Such students, although the sustainable MBBS course at other European universities, will continue to be students from the University of Ukraine Parents.
The academic mobility program will only apply to universities or medical institutions located in 29 countries and medical students are advised to adopt the appropriate mobility program, NMC has suggested. After they complete the MBBS course from any medical university located in 29 countries, they will get a degree certificate from the main medical university in Ukraine, NMC has clarified.
There are between 20,000 and 22,000 Indian students, where a total of 740 students came from Telangana, who suddenly left their MBBS courses in Ukraine and returned. NMC nodding for 29 countries will provide great assistance to Indian students who pursue MBBS courses in Ukraine.
In recent months, many Ukraine universities have been able to enter into collaboration with their colleagues in Europe so that the academic mobility program can be offered to foreign students in the form of exchange programs.
