Viral Video: Man Dressed As Boris Johnson Gets Chased By Police

A man dressed as British Prime Minister Boris Johnson entertained cricket fans on the second day of the third and last test between England and New Zealand by running through the stands while being chased by men dressed as police officers.
The incident occurred in Headingley Cricket Ground in Leeds, England. A viral video taken in the stands showed a cricket lover dressed like Mr. Johnson, complete with blond wigs, blue ties and white shirts with “Please vote Boris 4 No. 10” written in the back. The short clip showed the man chased by his other friends, all of which were wearing police uniforms.

The clip saw the group walking along the boundaries. In the background, the crowd can also be heard cheering.

According to Indy 100, the video refers to this new partygate scandal, which made Johnson the first prime minister found to have violated the law. Metropolitan police have investigated 12 parties that broke the law held at Downing Street and Whitehall during the peak of Pandemi Covid-19.

British PM is said to have attended six of them and even beaten with a fine during his 2020 anniversary. Despite facing a voice of no trust earlier this month after the scandal, Johnson managed to survive.
